Mission
The mission of the Frankford Plains United Methodist Church is “To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of
the world.” (United Methodist Book of Discipline Para 120, 2008)
Vision
Guided by the Bible, our Methodist heritage, our rich
history and our collective experiences, we are a welcoming Christian family
that gathers as a local church.
We nurture each other’s relationship with Jesus Christ
through prayer, education, worship and fellowship.
We respond to God’s grace in our lives by providing food,
clothing, shelter, and support to those in need, both locally and globally
while sharing our faith and love of Jesus Christ.
We witness to the Holy Spirit’s transforming presence through
our social interactions, our daily living and our commitment to the community.
Values
We value the Word of God as presented in the books of the
Bible and seek to understand it and live it out in our daily lives
We value being a close knit community that seeks to be a
preview of the kingdom of God by caring for each other and nurturing each other
in their walk of faith
We value our Methodist heritage and our deep sense of
history and presence in Frankford Township and the surrounding communities.
We value service to our community to share the grace that we
have experienced in our lives through generous service to those in need.
